The third edition of the HIPSTARS workshop will be held in Varadero from 13-17 May 2024.  

The aim of the Workshop is to interconnect the physics of heavy ion reactions in the GSI/FAIR energy regime with the physics of compact stellar objects, e.g. Neutron Stars.

Details will be sent to the participants upon registration.

The workshop will consist of online talks followed by discussion sessions covering recent developments in the following topics: 

• heavy ion collisions and the formation of the quark-gluon plasma,
• relativistic and nuclear astrophysics,
• compact stars, gravitation and related topics.
