The German Physical Society (DPG) is offering "HiWi" (student assistant) jobs to support the DPG Spring Meeting 2024 of the Division of Particle Physics at KIT. If you are interested in serving as a HiWi at the DPG meeting and you are a Bachelor or Master student or a doctoral researcher, you can apply for a HiWi contract on this website. Please fill the application form (see "Registration"). You can specify the desired amount and kind of work you are interested in. We'll try to take your wishes into account as much as possible when doing the final task assignments, but there is no guarantee that all of them can be implemented. For the sake of an efficient distribution and full coverage of all available tasks, we might have to make compromises.

Successful applicants will receive a HiWi contract with DPG. The hourly wage depends on your degree (student without degree: 13€, with Bachelor degree: 14€, with Master degree: 17€).  

Important: You can also sign up for tasks without being able to get a Hiwi contract with DPG (or without wanting one). For that purpose just mark the check box "Don't want a DPG Hiwi contract".

The application form will record your name and email address, which are required for the DPG to contact you concerning your HiWi contract. You have specific rights as a ‘data subject’ under Chapter III (Articles 14-25) of Regulation (EU) 2018/1725, in particular the right to access your personal data, and, to rectify them, in case your personal data are inaccurate or incomplete. You have the right to erase your personal data, to restrict the processing of your personal data, to object to the processing, and the right to data portability. You can exercise your rights by contacting the local organizer of the DPG spring meeting.
