The Zeek Project is thrilled to offer a two-day Zeek community workshop at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland, on March 25th & 26th, 2026.
The Workshop covers a wide range of topics concerning the open source network security monitoring software Zeek. Zeek was developed by Vern Paxson at Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory (LBL), USA. Well grounded in more than 25 years of research, Zeek has successfully bridged the traditional gap between academia and operations since its inception.
Today, it is relied upon operationally in particular by many scientific environments for securing their computing infrastructure. Zeek's user community includes major universities, research labs, supercomputing centers, open-science communities, large IT companies and public agencies.
Zeek Workshop Europe 2026 is a community event aimed at users, developers, incident responders, threat hunters and architects who rely on the open-source Zeek network security monitor as a critical element in their security stack.
Join us for technical talks, hands-on training, and discussions on Zeek, its many applications, and its future. Meet Zeek developers and leadership team, and connect with your colleagues. If you're interested in the ever-evolving cybersecurity landscape and how Zeek can help your organisation by providing better data about network traffic, then the Zeek Workshop Europe 2026 is the right place to be.
The event will cater to Zeek users of all skill levels, incident responders, threat hunters, and other security practitioners.
Attendance is free thanks to our sponsors, it just requires registration.
