Abstract: In this talk, Amanda Diez Fernandez, from the Knowledge Transfer Group will present how CERN technologies and expertise can have an impact in society and are currently contributing to the innovation efforts of companies outside the field of fundamental physics research. She will then provide some examples of ongoing projects ranging from medical applications to cultural heritage, focussing on some of projects she has been working on.
